August solar production

Our solar panels produced 312kWh’s in August. Respectable, though not as good as last year. The month was similar to this year’s June in some respects…pretty murky weather at times.

Where is summer?

June was very dreary. The solar panels produced only 243kWh’s for the month. Their production last year was starting to approach 100% of what our household consumed. This year that ratio is probably around 30%.

Sunny spring continues to be good for solar production

March in northwest Oregon had a lot of sunny weather again like last month. We produced 227kWh’s of electricity. This month that amounts to about 34% of what our household consumed.

Three megawatt (hours)

A bit over a year and we’ve produced over 3MWh’s of power. The PV system’s working right to spec. Now I’m thinking of getting a solar water heater later this year.
